Daily exposure to sunlight can be drearily fleeting during winter time. What our celestial star munificently provides without which life cannot exist, wintertide jealously circumscribes and curfews, in a manner as if issuing a reminder to all of anthropogenic mankind about who ultimately would emerge as survivor in the event of a sustained attritional clash between humans and the environment.

This series of pictures, captured in 'borrowed light' situations during winter time, seeks to present one of many perspectives of Nature's enduring supremacy over human civilization under its elemental devices of frost, barrenness and putrescence which, without any doubt, would outlast us if all things should ever come to bear one fine day.
